(especially regarding software)

It's new so people can NOT refer to it. If it's outside of their domain they can not even RELATE to it.

3. make them touch it!
   1. Oh I see, interesting idea!

Even if it's ugly, even if it's crappy, even if it has half a feature, don't talk about an invention, make them try it. Have a prototype is THE only way to get your message across and to sound realistic. Prototype fast.

Theoretical optimal process

1. admit there is a situation to improve
2. imagine that you have all the resources you need
3. design a solution
4. engineer the solution knowing that you have very limited resources
5. prioritize the sub-situations
6. go to 1 recursively with the top priority sub-situation

18:01 <Utopiah> mais je lis aussi bien du "bas niveau" (genre librairie ajax) que tu "haut niveau" (genre metaCDN)
