Goal
Adding serendipity to friendship and making fun of the Social Network phenomenon.
Abstraction of the problematic
- X happen in Z
- T can not be performed outside of S
- ...
- use key parameters
How do you cope with this situation ?
In situ example
Jo hears about yet another SocialNetwork website, joins and get sick of having yet another random guy "friending" him. He...
Branding

- WorldFriending
- ?
- values
- humor
- connecting
- serendipity
- randomness
Marketing
- Creating or joining dedicated groups on the most famous SN
- Facebook apps to randomly add (cross SN?)
- having reports from ReadWriteWeb/BoinkBoink/Technocrati/Slashdot and trendy websites
Summing up the message
Pictures of "friended" from the big SN : "tired of yet another morron adding you on YouTube" (picture of the add with a ridiculous name)
Profile of the target
Visualization
- Having a patchwork for all the big SN, showing the "pattern" again and again, making people relate to the situation to produce a gut feeling of "yeah man, totally know what you mean..."
- pictures of all the friend X, send to all, etc... annoyances, make them appear on after the other sticking on the page (faster and faster), covering the whole thing then a BIG FriendMe (or whatever the name we choose) comes over it and removes the whole thing : the ultimate ridiculous annoyance, random friending (obviously with a better tagline)
Finance

Proposed solutions
- a website with ONLY a friend button you can't do ANYTHING but friend random people
Inspiration
- Trend of "yet-another-social-network" but with a recurrent pattern of "friending" by unknown people not even presenting themselves
