- honestly if I had infinite time I would. Each language truly is beautiful and some ideas can properly be expressed only in some languages. Yet I also believe this is based on the underlying culture. Consequently one could perfectly master a vocabulary and grammar without grasping any of the culture. We frequently read about the dozens of way to talk about snow for some populations but truly, is that about the language itself or rather how this language adapted to its context? Arguably I find more interesting to study the specific of different languages, based on the culture or even grammatical structures, while keeping at least one popular language (currently English) for the sole purpose of communication.
