Embedded Module Editor

Principle

Following ontogenesis design, evolving from within.

It should provide faster ways to improve Seedea from inside.

Having cognitive bricks

As easy to manipulate as Lego bricks. We make a module here thanks to the editor directly within the wiki then we can connect each module to another to go further. We can imagine pipes like Yahoo!Pipes but directly embedded within a creative environment.

Warning

"With great power comes great responsibility." (Attributed to Stan Lee)

By enabling such a module you give even more possibilities to the users including the ability to mess-up with your installation. It doesn't have to be problematic but you should understand the risks and not only the benefits.

Also when a new module fails the whole system become unusable ! Eh.. really or only all the pages that try to load it? Anyway should have a simulation/test environment that would automatically revert or at least prevent failure of the encapsulating environment. Test should be done within a virtual environment which is a degraded copy of the current environment.

Previous raw notes

  1. edit text with an improved from on Module.X
  2. load modules list
  3. just change the path from CookBook to Module.
  4. done!

Edit pmWiki modules directly within pmWiki :

  1. normal textbox is enough (can use Vimperator C^I)
  2. bind within the config file or within a file that the config files load (or the module editing module make it load)
  3. put online help (based on my learning page)
    1. DebuggingForCookbookAuthors tips and tricks with other authors about PmWiki specific debugging
